Dish of the Day: You and Me- Lifehouse

Cause it's you and me and all of the people
With nothing to do, nothing to prove
And it's you and me and all of the people and
I don't know why I can't keep my eyes off you

i finally caught war of the worlds. i was kept on my toes and all, but the ending was SO anti-climax. hummm.
how does it feel like to listen to a typically meaningful song? just like this one. i mean, if you look at the lyrics, it's nothing special, the beat common, yet what is it that draws you to listen to something, to go back and re-examine what is it about the song that touched your soul?
shall be messing with my baby guitar tonight. i wonder where steve vai got his genes. :P can everything really be achieved by sheer hard work?
